Dr. Shah is a native New Yorker from Long Island, NY. She attended New York University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry and Child Mental Health Studies. She continued her education at New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she earned her Doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine. She completed a three-year residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx where she was trained in elective and non-elective surgeries of the foot and ankle. She was trained and exposed to various subspecialties during her residency and believes she practices podiatric medicine with a more comprehensive approach as a result. Having grown up dancing her whole life, she empathizes with the necessity to live pain free with any foot ailments. She is compassionate towards her patients and recognizes that communication is the most integral part of any patient interaction. In her free time, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling and exploring new restaurants. Dr. Shah is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Board Certified by American Board of Podiatric Medicine
